On November 18, 2018, Thursday performed their seminal 2001 album Full Collapse in its entirety at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California. For an artist accustomed to large festivals and arenas, this club showcase represented an intentional return to an intimate setting.

The capture documents Geoff Rickly, Tom Keeley, Steve Pedulla, Tim Payne, and Tucker Rule inside a packed room where audience and stage space merged. It archives a crucial chapter in the history of independent post-hardcore and emo.

During their multi-night World Tour of Anaheim residency in January 2018, Saosin returned to Chain Reaction, the small Orange County venue where their career originated. The intimate stage setup highlighted the technical precision of their Translating the Name material.

Vocalist Anthony Green is captured reaching out over the front rows as the crowd pushed forward. The residency was notable for featuring Green performing “Voices” live for the first time—a track originally written during the band’s mid-2000s era.
