Glenn Danzig & Doyle

I fought my way through a packed crowd at Riot Fest Denver with a Canon 5D Mark III and a 70-200mm lens that kept fogging up in the heat, all to land this one unscripted second between Glenn Danzig and Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein.

It was September 4, 2016, the night the original three-piece Misfits, Danzig, Jerry Only, and Doyle, played together again for the first time in thirty-three years, and the crowd around me was screaming along to every word like no time had passed at all. I grew up certain I would never get the chance to see this band at all, so standing close enough to catch this exact moment between them is still one of the biggest core memories of my career.
